Planet Technology announces the High Speed VDSL2 Router ( VC-200M / VC-200S) , based on two core networking technologies, Ethernet and VDSL2 ( Very High Speed Digital Subscriber Line 2) . According to the manufacturer, it offers the fastest data transmission speeds over existing copper telephone lines without the need for rewiring. The ideal situation, the date rate of VDSL2 can be up to 40 Mbps upstream and 100 Mbps downstream. It also features shared internet access, virtual servers and 4-Port switch.

The PLANET VC-200M and VC-200S use High-performance network processor and integrated VDSL2 modem delivering speed and throughput ideal for FTTN deployments. These routers enable the delivery of triple play services over IP-based VDSL2 “ first mile” networks. The VC-200M and VC-200S ensure quality delivery of delay-sensitive voice and video services such as VoIP and standard and HDTV.
